*WINE OF THE WEEK 7/2-7/8* Beautiful, rich ruby red. Practically opaque. Aromas of earthy strawberries and dried cherries, smoke and a hint of rosemary. Intense flavors of jammy fresh fruits−strawberries and cherries with a touch of raspberry. The tannins and acid are well balanced. This will be a great wine with food, especially grilled meats. This wine ready to drink now, but will further develop in the bottle through 2012.
